Optical Review: Minh Chau Optical (Toronto)

One word: Great.... Honest, kind and AMAZING customer service at Minh Chau Optical.

Rating it 4/5 stars... and here's why

I walked in Minh Chau thinking (and seeing its grandeur compared to its chinatown surrounding) that I probably wouldn't be able to get a good price to buy lens, but since I was already there why not check it out! Walking in, the entrance has a wide long foyer with stairs leading into the main hall of the store. It is very open.

So when I walked in no one really came up to me to ask for help. A little unsure, I walked further into the counter at the very back where there were a cluster of patrons and two staff. Finally, after looking and waiting one of the ladies asked if she can help me. After talking with her, she told me what I wanted to hear: the deal/price. Beforehand, I checked with 4 other optical stores and Minh Chau had the best price (she included tax in the given price). 

While I was in the middle of paying, the owner Christine and I got to chatting. She was a very sweet lady. Just by talking to her, I could feel that she had heart and her business reflected that. When I went back to pick up my glasses four days later, another family member, Sunny, gave me another great experience. He made sure that I could see well in my new lens and did the eye check with me. He was in no rush and took his time to make sure I was happy with their work and mentioned when and how I should clean my lens in the future. And as a bonus, Sunny gave me a case (I forgot to bring mine) and a bottle of glasses cleaner.
