Swwwwweeeeeet dessert review today!
One of our lovely friends brought us some cannolis from Bolton, Ontario.
In my life I've only tried cannolis once (downtown in Little Italy) and it was a very horrible experience. The cookie part was fine, it was the cream filling that was a disappointment. I felt the granulated sugars and it was much too sweet.
But, our friend swears by this one and so I gave it a try! And to all our surprises, it was taste-worthy! The cream filling is tamed in the sugar content and the cheese was incredibly smooth and cheesy!
It was SO GOOD!
Just looking at the cream, I'm drooling again!
